Improvement Projects

A line that continues to move through the ages

Leveler Update

Replace/Improve: Upgrade your old leveler to specifications that are in line with the times.

Many of the leveling machines currently in operation were designed to specifications from more than 20 years ago, making it difficult to flexibly handle high-tensile steel plates (high-tensile materials) or thin or thick plates.
With such old equipment, not only are warping and distortion of the plates unable to be adequately corrected, but cleaning and inspecting the rolls also takes a lot of time and effort.
Not just equipment that can still be used, but equipment that can be used to its full potential. Why not evolve your existing line to meet the performance required for steel plate processing in the future?

Slitter update

Improvement of slitter stand and blade changer. For slitters that have reached the limits of precision, we bring you the next level of performance.

Slitter stands that have been used for many years have shown signs of deterioration in the accuracy and stability of clearance adjustment, resulting in issues such as a decrease in slitting accuracy and increased complexity in blade assembly work.
In this situation, not only does it become difficult to produce high-quality products and meet short delivery deadlines, but it also increases dependency on skilled workers and the risk of production becoming too dependent on individuals.
Reduce the burden of work and achieve both quality and speed. Now is the time to move to the next stage, as this is equipment that will be used for a long time.

Electrical control renewal (control panel, PLC, operation panel, motor, etc.)

Even if the equipment is running, has the "control" stopped?

In production line equipment that has been in operation for many years, the risks of unexpected trouble, unavailability of parts, and unstable operation are increasing year by year due to the aging of control systems (PLCs, relays, operation panels, etc.) and the end of production of parts.
Additionally, in many cases, outdated and difficult-to-use touch panels/displays are still being used, which can cause stress for operators and lead to operational mistakes.
At Unicare Kogyo, we not only update electrical control units, but also propose optimized control tailored to the operation of machinery and equipment and on-site operations. We aim to update not just "the same operation as now," but "more convenient and safer control."
